Oregon CIS has the ability to send you text messages (such as SMS, MMS, or successor protocols or technologies). This service is opt-in (you are opted-out by default) and is only available for U.S. phone numbers. You must enable Text Messaging in your Account Settings after logging in. At any time you may unsubscribe by disabling Text Messaging in your Account Settings. You are responsible for keeping your phone number current in your Account Settings.
We use third-party service providers (such as Twilio) to deliver text messages. Your phone number is shared with these providers solely for the purpose of message delivery. We do not use your phone number for any other purpose, including marketing or promotional communications.
We do not charge you for the messages you send and receive via this text message service. However, message and data rates may apply, so depending on your plan with your wireless or other applicable provider, you may be charged by your carrier. The number of text messages you receive will vary depending on how you use our services.
Message delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed. Do not rely on text messages for time-sensitive communications.
