Oregon CIS provides career development products and information you can count on.

CIS products are designed to meet the information needs of all Oregonians who are engaged in career development. Our primary product is CIS for Internet.  It is most often licensed by schools, colleges, agencies, and businesses, and other organizations engaged in support of the career planning of their students, clients, or customers.  The information and other components in CIS for Internet are packaged so they are developmentally appropriate to the age and stage of the people who need them.


Career Awareness for Elementary Students

Our career awareness product, Career Trek, helps teach children in elementary grades about the world of work. Career Trek broadens student career awareness. Click here to learn more about Career Trek.


Career Exploration for the Middle Grades

The Middle School License provides CIS for Internet components designed for 6th through 8th grade students. Using CIS at these grade levels can support reading, writing, decision-making, and critical thinking skills while developing self-awareness, career exploration, research, and planning skills. Career Planning for High School Students

The High School License provides comprehensive career information for students developing and updating educational plans. Using CIS in high school supports lifelong career planning and promotes career self-reliance. Career Planning and Transitions for College Age Students

CIS provides comprehensive information for students of all ages. The tools in CIS encourage self-assessment, goal setting, decision-making, and evaluation, creating the foundation skills for lifelong career self-management. Career Transition for Adults

Adults in transition need comprehensive resources that link complete occupational information to the full range of educational options. The Business and Agency options include licenses for One-Stop Career Centers to agencies that have a small client group.  Public libraries can also license CIS as a career resource for their patrons.
