Peterson's Practice Test Packages

... a personalized solution for test preparation

Oregon CIS has partnered with Peterson's, A Nelnet Company, to offer site licenses for its popular online test preparation packages. Each package includes practice tests for a variety of tests. Users at sites that license a package have access to any of the practice tests available in that package through their CIS portfolio.

Peterson’s Practice Test Packages increase test-taking abilities and build confidence. Each test mimics a real test and provides detailed test results which identify areas where additional study is required. The online interface is free of advertising and easy to use, with 24/7 access from any Internet-enabled computer. Students go directly from their CIS portfolios to their Peterson's practice tests.

Academic Practice Test Package

includes SAT, ACT, GED, CLEP, ASVAB (and 1 PSAT)

includes CLEP Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, English, and Humanities

includes 3 TOEFL Tests: Writing, Vocabulary, and Reading

SAT, ACT, GED, and ASVAB Features

Length – 2 to 3 full-length practice tests.
Content Material – reflects the real exams with realistic content and difficulty. Delivers most question types necessary to create a test-like practice session.
Explanation – Every question has detailed answer explanations.
Scoring – Includes number of questions omitted, answered correctly, answered incorrectly, and percent correct.
Timed – Same constraints as official test to help students develop a sense of pacing.
Bookmark – Students can return to partially completed tests where they left off.
SAT Essays – Self-scored. Peterson’s provides an essay prompt and sample high and low scoring essay with advice on scoring.
Review – Student can review all questions with complete explanations.
Instruction – Vocabulary flashcards. Testing overview, including general exam information, tips, and strategies to boost performance on test day.

The College-Level Examination Program® CLEP Features

Length - 2 to 3 full-length practice tests.
Content Material - reflects the real exams with realistic content and difficulty. Delivers most question types necessary to create a test-like practice session.

Timed - All practice tests are timed like the real test.

TOEFL Practice Test Features

TOEFL Practice – Writing, Vocabulary, and Reading.
Length - 3 practice sessions for each.
Instruction – In each practice, a diagnostic test identifies areas for additional work. Flash cards help prepare for the Vocabulary section.

SAT Subject and AP Practice Test Package

includes 10 SAT Subject Tests: Biology E/M, French, Chemistry, Literature, Math Level 1, Math Level 2, Physics, Spanish, U.S. History, and World History.
