... responding to the needs of Oregonians since 1972
At Oregon CIS, we continuosly enhance our products and develop new ones. During our thirty-five year history, we have actively responded to site and user suggestions and built our software and information resources to meet the changing career development needs of the people of Oregon.
As part of a national operators network of state career information delivery systems, intoCAREERS, Oregon CIS is engaged in cooperative, long-range development efforts to bring new technologies to career information delivery and to enhance our current delivery systems. Within Oregon, we also address our unique opportunities and needs with new software tools and support materials.

All licensed sites in Oregon are part of our state consortium. Consortium members have a stake and a voice in our development efforts. We endeavor to keep sites informed of our projects and priorities through the Keywords newsletter, our workshops, our subscription mailing lists, and this web site. However, we count on our sites to let us know their needs and ideas. "Synergy through collaboration" is one of the guiding principles of the Oregon CIS Vision. Feel free to provide feedback at any time.
Addressing Oregon's High School Diploma Requirements
Oregon CIS is committed to helping the schools in Oregon meet their students' career development needs. Several developments are critical to schools as they strive to address the career-related graduation requirements. Several components have been created specifically to address these and enhancements are introduced regularly. Click here for a handout of how CIS addresses these.
