CIS for Internet's comprehensive occupation and education information helps students set goals and follow through with plans for their futures. It encourages self-assessment, exploration, research, and decision-making. The CIS career planning portfolio provides the process for students to develop, and the means for schools to document, information for the education plan and profile. My CRLE Planner supports career-related learning in the classroom and the community.

Occupations, industries, job search, self-employment, programs of study and training, Oregon and U.S. schools, financial aid, and transfer policies.
Exploration Tools
The information sorting tools include Occupation Sort, Undergraduate School Sort, and Financial Aid Sort. The formal career assessment instruments include SKILLS Assessment, Interest Profiler, and Work Importance Locator. IDEAS Assessment can be added for an additional license fee.
My Career Planning Portfolio
This personal career folder includes My Plan to organize the education planning process and My Course Planner to generate a course plan based on career and education goals. My CIS Favorites stores links to and reflections about any information in CIS and records the results of any of the Exploration Tools. My Career Planning Portfolio also collects career profile, college and job application information, and resume information in My Education and Work History.
My CRLE Planner
Its two components, My CRLE Plans and My EA Projects, provide tools for creating substantive learning plans and guided writing for managing meaningful senior projects.
Peterson's Practice Test Packages
An optional component with an additional fee, three practice test packages are available to help students prepare for their next steps.

Oregon CIS provides on-call technical support during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call or e-mail Customer and User Services staff for a fee quote or demonstration access. The license year for these options begins October 1.
