Oregon CIS is a public, self-supporting consortium organization administered by the University of Oregon under the guidance of the CIS Board. The board consists of eighteen members representing our user institutions and affiliated interest groups. The Board may set up special task forces or committees to look into areas of particular concern. For example, during 1999, the CIS Millennium Task Force reviewed the CIS fee structure for products and services and made recommendations to take CIS into the next decade.

The schools, agencies, and businesses that lease CIS products are members of the CIS Consortium. The staff of these organizations may be considered for board membership.
